Once again the cooler weather sets in and summer is over. The kids are back in class and the daily routines of the school year take over. I miss the summer months of lazy days in the sun and short weekend trips to the beach already.
When neighboring homes are decorated with apples and pumpkins to welcome fall, I dig my heels in one last time and hang on to summer with a fall seaside theme taking over my kitchen and adjacent powder room. I refuse to let go so quickly.
Slowly I will take up the new routines and begin to decorate for the upcoming fall and winter holidays, but not so quickly. I hope you’ll grab a cup of warm tea or cider and enjoy these pictures of my fall seaside retreat.
